Communication

Communication is a human need as a social being to establish good relations and interactions with other humans. Rozza S (2004) conducted research on human communication, states that;Human comunication is the primary activity of human being to exhange idea, opinion, and feelings. It woud seem that everybody is in favour of it. Lack of communication is frequently cited as the reason for anything that goes wrong with families, society and business. In the organization, communication becomes a means of creating qualified service and establishing awareneess and attitude of service employer to implement the role and funtion of qualified humn communication. In the organization, interpersonal communication is very often used. To implement effectively interpersonal communication, it needs a good relationship, understanding oneself and others, understanding individual ego and others, and mastering productive language skills: speaking and writing, and nonverbal communication.

Tubers slicing machine

One of the agricultural commodity sector is the bulbs, taro, cassava. Tubers are many in the consumption of processed foods in various forms, one of the models that food is very tasty and the flavor is kind of crackers thinly chopped and dried in the sun and then fried. Crackers are very popular in the country - a country pengahsil tubers. Usually crackers that have been fried can survive more than a month with the provisions laid out in a sealed chamber.

Elektrical power of turbine


Example : a small turbine with a single phase 240 volts 50 Hz synchronous generator. The output power of the 0.8 pf generator is 5 kW. The turbine set is installed very close to the house. What extra switchgear will he require to use the turbine. a).if the main power supply is removed completely  b) if the intends to keep and use the main power during dry periods?

The kVA rating of the generator is 5kw/0.8 = 6.25 kVA. The current of the generator is 6.25 kVA/240 V = 26 amps. So all his new switches should be 30 amps.
a.    If the mains power is removed completely, he an connect the hydro power to the existing main switch and use it as it is. If no ELCB is available he can have that as an extra. See fig 1

If he want to install trips eg under-volts, frequency etc, he needs a 30 amp contactor with coil voltage of 240 volts. This contactor can be as shown below. See fig 2
b.    If he want to keep the mains supply along with the hydro supply he needs a manual changeover of 30 amps rating, and also a 30 amp main switch. If he hopesto use trips then he requires a contactor as mentioned above. See fig 3.

Fuel water hyacinth

Fuel water hyacinth is a solid fuel processed from biological materials carbonized. This fuel as a substitute for fossil fuels that are stored belly of the earth and is almost certain to run out, the formation of fossil energy sources other than take a long time pressures and high temperatures are needed inherent in the earth. Prof. Thamrin (2010) has conducted research on fuel from the carbonized water hyacinth. Obviously the manufacturing process-based fuels from water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), more specifically in the form of solid fuel briquettes from water hyacinth that has been carbonized by the addition of clay as an adhesive. Fuel water hyacinth that has been dried and then dikarbonisi, then mashed. Materials used as an adhesive clay briquettes briquette is produced is produced is a cylinder with a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 5 cm with a water content of 6%.

Separator Machine Meat and Fish Bones

Prof.Ari P, has patented a centrifuge findings meat and fish bones. Machines can separate the meat and bones of small fish measuring a maximum of 30 cm of low economic value of the catch that had been discarded byproduct. Substance a replacement Coolant

Prof. Aryadi S (2010) found the substance replacement a cooling system, a substance often used for this is the refrigerant (R12, R22,) and many others substances which contains a substance that destroy the environment or the refrigerant HCFC 22 and CFC-502, a hydrocarbon-based. Refrigerant is composed of hydrocarbon material and a fire-suppressing substance affixes or low flammability suppressant (LFS). Hydrocarbons used were of propane (C3H8), iso-butane (i-C4H10), and n-butane (n-C4H10). This refrigerant has the properties of non-toxic, non-flammable, so it can be grouped in class A2. In addition this invention refrigerant also has properties that do not corrosive and does not damage the system components the commonly used, do not have the potential erosion of the ozone (ODP) and the competencies of global warming (GWP) is lower than HCFC 22. In addition, the refrigerant is able to improve the performance of the cooling system.

Solutions to Outdoor Air pollution

Summarizes ways to reduce emissions of sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter from stationary sources such as electric power plants and industrial plants that burn coal. Until recently, most of the emphasis has been on dispersing the pollutants with tall smokestack, or on adding equipment that removes some of the prticulate pollutants after they are produced. More utilities are switching to low-sulfur coal to reduce SO2 emissions.Emviromntalists call for taxes on air pollutant emissions and greater emphases on prevention methods.
Some ways to reduce emissions from motor vehicles, the primary culprits in producing photochemical smog.catalytic converters that reduces automotive airpollutants are not as effective as we think. When the car’s accelerator is held down (as for passing), the sensors that maintant the chemical balance needed forthe catalystto work are bypassed,and emission rates increase sharphy.
(Figure) solutions , four commonly used methods for removing particulates fromthe exhaust gases of electric power and industrial plants. Of these, only baghouses filters emove many of the more hazardous line particies. All the methods produce hazardous materials that must be disposed of sately and except for cyclone separators all of them are exspensive. The wet scrubber is alsoused toreduce sulfur dioxide emissions.
